Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kong Po (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Ellenberger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nick Ellenberger told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ellenberger bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Po throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ellenberger.
Po will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Ellenberger shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Po keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Ellenberger is thwarting Po's attempts to control the position.

Po is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ellenberger pulls his head out easily.

Po has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Po has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Ellenberger doesn't defend quickly enough and Po has managed to lock this one up! Can Ellenberger escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Po on a fantastic submission victory.
