Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cody Sieve (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Christian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sieve has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. This should be fireworks!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christian pushes Sieve up against the cage in a clinch.
Sieve is breathing heavily.
Christian stalling against the cage.
Christian tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Sieve just stands there and leans against the cage.
Christian breaks from the clinch.
Christian cracks a nice hook into Sieve's ribs.
Christian closes the distance and clinches.

Christian tries to score a body lock takedown but Sieve shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Sieve prevents a takedown attempt there.

Christian drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Sieve gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Sieve wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Christian has him pressed against the cage.

Christian jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sieve walks away with a smile on his face. Christian gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Christian is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Sieve throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Christian tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Sieve manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Christian shoots in but Sieve avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A head kick from Christian lands but Sieve takes it in his stride.
Christian gets a double leg takedown into Sieve's guard.
Christian trying to control the position from guard on top but Sieve is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Christian seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Sieve feints and as Christian raises his hands in defense, Sieve changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Christian throws a sloppy head kick and Sieve moves out of range easily.

Christian ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Christian no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Sieve is fighting to break Christian's control of his arms but Christian is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Sieve is looking to stand up but Christian won't let him.
Christian is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Christian throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sieve's waist but Sieve gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Christian off to one side.

Sieve tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Christian manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Christian shoots for a double leg takedown but Sieve sprawls well. He's pushed Christian's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Sieve throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sieve keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Christian darts in and clinches Sieve up against the cage.
Christian tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Sieve smiles and moves away.
Sieve fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Christian to the ground. Sieve is now in Christian's guard.

Christian can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Sieve controls the pace.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Christian fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sieve, pushing him back against the cage.

That was a close second round but I would say that Cody Sieve will probably get the nod.

Christian might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Sieve kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Christian is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Sieve has latched onto it... Big trouble! Sieve pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Christian is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Sieve!
