Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tunying Jedi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randall Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jedi comes to the cage accompanied by Binilanggo. Johnson has chosen Im a playa as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tunying Jedi! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Randall Johnson! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Johnson is keen to just control but Jedi is a slippery customer. Johnson content to control rather than advance. Johnson lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Johnson scoring with strikes to the body and head. Johnson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Johnson slows the pace down in half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jedi avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Johnson. Jedi on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jedi tries to get out of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson is looking to take a break and control but Jedi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Johnson throwing shots but Jedi is blocking nicely. Johnson trying to control the action but Jedi is working from the bottom. Johnson is controlling the pace.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Randall Johnson wasn't active enough on the ground. Jedi misses with the combination.
Tunying Jedi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jedi misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Johnson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jedi won't be happy with that. Johnson working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Johnson lands a few punches from side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Johnson moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Johnson throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Johnson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Jedi has escaped the position, nice work there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Johnson trying to control the action but Jedi is working from the bottom. Johnson creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Jedi sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Johnson tries to advance to mount but can't. Johnson advances nicely into full mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson controlling from the full mount. Johnson avoids the attempt from Jedi to control. Jedi tries to buck Johnson off but he can't manage it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Johnson lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Johnson looking to finish Jedi with some ground and pound. This is bad for Jedi!
It looks like Tunying Jedi has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Johnson lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Johnson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jedi but Jedi pushes him off and we're back to square one. Johnson avoids the body shot from Jedi.
Johnson fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jedi misses with a series of wild punches.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Johnson is defended easily by Jedi. Tunying Jedi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Randall Johnson. Johnson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jedi is fending him off so far but Johnson persists. Nope, Jedi circles away and we're back to standing. Jedi just misses with a punch to the body.
Jedi displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Johnson. Jedi throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

That's one minute gone in the round. A looping hook to the body misses from Jedi. Johnson does a little dance to reset his feet. Jedi is looking to wear down Johnson with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Jedi misses with a combination
and Johnson counters with a single leg into guard. Jedi didn't expect that. Johnson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Johnson looking to sit in guard and control but Jedi gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Johnson looking for a guillotine here but Jedi defends easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Johnson wants to sweep here but Jedi controlling him for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Johnson drops an elbow to the side of Jedi's head. Johnson controlling the pace. Jedi is not content to let Johnson control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson works his foot free and advances to mount. Johnson is in the full mount, landing strikes. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jedi is bucking up trying to escape but Johnson cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A nice elbow there by Johnson. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Randall Johnson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Tunying Jedi's cut. That's time! Back to the action!

He's pulled Johnson in close but Johnson has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Jedi survive? More strikes from Johnson and Jedi is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
