Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Taka Masahuku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Philips (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Masahuku's entrance music is Saltarello by Dead Can Dance. A fine choice. Philips is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Dance Hall Days. Ray Philips has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masahuku swings for the body but Philips moves out of range.
Philips bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Philips misses with a looping right.
Masahuku looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Masahuku not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Philips is looking for a sweep. Masahuku is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Philips really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Masahuku. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Masahuku accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Masahuku postures up and lands a big shot to Philips's brow.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Masahuku's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Masahuku postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Masahuku looking to sit in guard and control but Philips gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Masahuku controls Philips momentarily but Philips frees himself.
Philips trying to control the position from guard on top but Masahuku is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Taka Masahuku dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Philips misses with a wild combination.
Philips connects with a looping right hand.
Philips scores with a jab to the head.
A solid leg kick lands there for Philips.
Philips takes a swing at Masahuku's ribcage but misses.
Philips tries to clinch up.
Philips with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Masahuku misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Philips tries to close the distance and clinch up but Masahuku swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Masahuku misses with a jab to the body
and Philips counters with a head kick that drops Masahuku to the mat! Masahuku scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Masahuku is rocked!
Philips drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Masahuku's head, knocking him out cold! Philips is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ray Philips!
