Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cade Strong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Troy Landry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strong looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Landry scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Landry has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Strong dives in and grabs Landry's left leg, looking for a takedown. Landry pushes down on Strong's head and hops out.

Landry lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Strong or not.
Strong goes for a takedown attempt but Landry pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Strong enables Landry to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Strong manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Landry stands up and waves to Strong to follow him.

Landry has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Troy Landry is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

I would just about give that final round to Troy Landry.
Well Landry has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
