Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Donnie Wall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Auville (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wall comes to the cage accompanied by Rolling Stones- Gimme Shelter. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Donnie Wall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, John Auville! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Leandro Rodrigues and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Auville wants to clinch up but Wall keeps it at a distance. Wall fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Auville, pushing him back against the cage. Auville breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A slapping leg kick lands for Auville.
Wall has a takedown stuffed. Auville looks to land a combination but Wall avoids it well. Wall closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Wall thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Wall is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wall passes the guard and advances to mount! Wall throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Auville because Wall loaded up on that one.

Auville is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Wall thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Auville is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Wall advances to full mount. Wall jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Auville manages to avoid the submission attempt. Auville ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wall moves away. Auville wants to clinch but Wall slips to the side and Wall decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Auville's guard. Wall is pushing down on Auville's leg trying to pass to half guard. Auville is fighting to maintain full guard but Wall has managed to sneak the leg through. Auville blocking the ground and pound attempt from Wall. Wall seems to be working for a kimura but Auville defends the submission attempt. Wall is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Wall distracts Auville with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Wall advances position into side control! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Auville prevents Wall from moving into mount. Wall tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Wall has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Wall in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

Wall decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
