The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calderon shoots in looking for a takedown. Ramos tries to sprawl out of it but Calderon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ramos manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ramos shoots in but no luck this time.
Calderon tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ramos swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Ramos tries to score a power double leg takedown but Calderon sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ramos somewhat.

Calderon will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Calderon shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ramos as he jumps to the side.
