Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Felipe Pontes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johny Larente (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Felipe Pontes has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Felipe Pontes seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pontes changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Larente tries to avoid it but Pontes manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Larente to the ground. Larente escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Pontes closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Larente's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
