The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Konstantin Menshow and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis misses with a hook to the body
and Swistopliasov counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lewis won't be happy with that.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Swistopliasov is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Lewis knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Swistopliasov isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Lewis stacks Swistopliasov on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Lewis!

That was a close round but I would say that Kal Lewis will probably get the nod.

Lewis throws a jab but it's blocked by Swistopliasov.

Lewis swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lewis throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lewis shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Swistopliasov's guard.

Lewis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Swistopliasov on the ground.

Lewis softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Swistopliasov is out cold! Lewis jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
