Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruska clinches up with Slova and pushes him back against the cage.
Slova slows down the pace here.
Ruska lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Slova doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Nice body punch from Ruska.
Ruska escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ruska tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Slova paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Slova shoots for a double leg takedown but Ruska sprawls well. He's pushed Slova's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ruska lands with a kick to the ribs.
Ruska has Slova up against the cage in a clinch.
Slova wants to break free but Ruska has control.
Slova is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Ruska gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Slova is working for takedown but Ruska is calmly controlling the position for now.
Dan Ruska has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dimitry Slova.
Ruska prevents the takedown attempt.

Ruska throws a nice outside leg kick.

Ruska lands a two punch combo.

Ruska drops Slova with a nice combination! Ruska dives into Slova's guard, looking to finish!
Slova is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Slova looks gassed!
Ruska stands up from Slova's guard - Ruska perhaps looking for a knockout.
Slova is still on wobbly legs! Can Ruska finish him?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ruska lands with a big left! Slova is wobbled badly! Ruska comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Slova to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Dan Ruska!
