Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tim Solih (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hyde Vamp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hyde Vamp will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hyde Vamp!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Vamp. No joy for Solih on that attempt.
Solih needs to keep his hands up - Vamp had a free shot at his head there.
Vamp will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Solih shoots for a double leg takedown but Vamp sprawls well. He's pushed Solih's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Vamp stands up and beckons Solih to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A punch lands to the side of Solih 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Vamp swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Vamp lands an overhand right.
Vamp swings for the body but Solih moves out of range.
Solih ducks under a wild hook from Vamp.
Solih gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Solih moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Solih takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Vamp tests Solih's chin there with a solid looking shot.

and Vamp counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Vamp clobbers Solih with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

It looks like Hyde Vamp has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Vamp ducks straight into an uppercut from Solih and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Vamp maanges to regain guard straight away.

Solih slips nicely into half guard.
Vamp is still in real trouble! Can Solih finish him?
Solih throws a strike but Vamp avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Vamp seems to have recovered his senses.

Solih with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Solih trying to control the position from guard on top but Vamp is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
A head kick lands from Solih that sends Vamp to the canvas. Vamp tries to scramble back to his feet but Solih brings him back down into side control.

A close round but Hyde Vamp will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Vamp is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Solih has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Solih is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Vamp has escaped the position, nice work there.
Vamp takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Vamp dodges the ground and pound from Solih.

Solih decides to stand up, so the ref orders Vamp to his feet.
Vamp scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Solih throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
No joy there for Vamp, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tim Solih is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Vamp bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Solih's head backwards.

Solih lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

You get the feeling that Vamp really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Vamp is desperately trying to improve his position but Solih has a good base and remains in mount.

Vamp is in a horrible position here. Solih smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Solih shoots in but Vamp avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Solih takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Vamp throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Solih stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Solih looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Vamp wants to get back to his feet but Solih is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Vamp bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Solih's guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hyde Vamp comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
