Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mohammad Lowal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Night (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lowal comes to the cage accompanied by KING KING KING. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Travis Night was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 10 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mohammad Lowal! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Travis Night! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Igor Prikhodko and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Night swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Night throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Lowal avoids the body shot from Night.
Lowal scores with a jab. Lowal on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Night scores with a jab to the body. Lowal bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Some wild striking there from Lowal.
Night is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lowal. A big left from Night misses. Lowal slips under a jab. The fighters circling - Lowal throws out the jab but it was never going to land. This has been an exciting period of action! Lowal steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Night. Lowal avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Night ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lowal moves away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Night thows a body shot but no joy. Lowal slips a straight right by Night. Lowal avoids the body shot from Night.
Night looks to land a left hand but Lowal moved out of range nicely. Travis Night seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Some wild striking there from Night.
Night moves away from the strike by Lowal. Lowal thuds his right hand into Night's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Night throws a nice inside leg kick. Night lands a jab. Night throws a body kick that misses. Lowal scores with a hook. Night pushes Lowal away with a front kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Night lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lowal circles away quickly and effectively. Night bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Lowal avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lowal fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Lowal scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Night throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Lowal to counter with a crisp jab. Night drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. No joy there for Night, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lowal misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Night.
Night takes a swing at Lowal's ribcage but misses. Lowal looks to score with a jab to the body but Night is just out of range. Lowal lands with a nice body punch. Lowal moves away from the strike by Night.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A jab from Lowal finds it's way through Night's defenses. Night dodges the punch combination from Lowal.
Night swings away with a leg kick that misses. Night wants to clinch. Lowal throws a left and a right that both miss
and Night connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Lowal avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Lowal misses with a series of wild punches.
Lowal fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Night fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Lowal shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Night as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mohammad Lowal. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Night lands with a good body shot. Night slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Night dips to his left and cracks Lowal with an uppercut! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Night throws a looping overhand right but Lowal ducks down to avoid it. Night throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Night throws a hook but Lowal avoids it easily. Lowal shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Night defends it nicely. Night lands a nice shot to the body.
Lowal is breathing heavily. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Night lands a jab to Lowal's midsection. Night cracks a nice hook into Lowal's ribs. Lowal moves out of range of the body kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Travis Night dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Lowal takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Night missing with a left hand there. Lowal was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Night throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Night is looking to clinch but Lowal is avoiding it.
Night throws a low kick but it's checked well by Lowal. Lowal swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lowal bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Night takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Night misses with a body shot.
A jab from Lowal misses. Lowal swings for the body but Night moves out of range.
Night lands an overhand right. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lowal on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Lowal is rocked! Lowal avoids the body shot from Night.
Oh Lowal is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's one minute gone in the round. Night throws a lazy uppercut
and Lowal decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Night's guard. Night wants to stand and escape but Lowal is having none of it. Lowal seems to have got his legs back now. Lowal wants to control from the top but Night keeps moving. Lowal stops Night from standing up. Lowal thows a big elbow that misses. Night is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Night is breathing heavily. Lowal misses with a hook to the ribs.
Night is trying to force a seperation but Lowal has the dominant position. Lowal fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Night looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Night tries to break the clinch but Lowal is controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lowal is struggling to control the position. Night wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Night stops a takedown attempt from Lowal.
Night swings wildly with an uppercut but Lowal uses good head movement to avoid it. Night breaks the clinch.
The fighters circling - Night throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Night throws a big shot that misses. Lowal is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Night. Lowal throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Night tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Lowal is in Night's guard. Lowal stops Night from standing up. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Lowal looking to pass the guard. Lowal has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Lowal trying to control but Night is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Night keeping full guard, as Lowal tries to pass. Night is looking to stand up but Lowal isn't so interested in that idea. Lowal with a flurry of punches that miss. Lowal trying to control the position from guard on top but Night is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lowal is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Night is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lowal is controlling him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lowal is working Night over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lowal stops Night from standing up. Night keeping moving, preventing Lowal from controlling successfully. Lowal scoring with some ground and pound. Night has his feet on Lowal's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Night thows a body shot but no joy. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Night misses with a wild body shot. Lowal throws a nice looking combination but Night bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Lowal keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Travis Night showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Lowal gets a takedown into half guard. Lowal looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Night pushes Lowal off looking to stand but Lowal dives back in and keeps control.
Lowal trying to pass the guard but Night defending well. Night has one foot on Lowal's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Travis Night seems to be getting the better of the standup. Night moves into range and clinches up with Lowal. Night is trying to force a seperation but Lowal has the dominant position. Night prevents a body shot from Lowal. Night wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lowal has him pressed against the cage. Night lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Lowal lands a left hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Night tries to circle away but Lowal has him pinned against the cage. Night is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Night wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lowal has him pressed against the cage. Night breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Night needs to keep his hands up - Lowal had a free shot at his head there. No joy there for Lowal, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lowal on the wrong end of a nice hook. Lowal gets the takedown into side control. Night is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Lowal is controlling him well. Mohammad Lowal overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Night takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lowal thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Lowal in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Travis Night is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lowal is trying to get an arm triangle but Night is defending well. Lowal misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Night is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Night prevents Lowal from moving into mount. Night tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Lowal looking for the RNC. Night is trying to stand back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lowal lands an elbow to the side of the head. Lowal is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Night taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Lowal.
