Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phol Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pertti Kiilopaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kiilopaa has chosen Extreme Ways as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Phol Hunt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Pertti Kiilopaa!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kiilopaa shoots in for a takedown but Hunt shows good takedown defense.
Hunt throws a head kick that misses.

Kiilopaa pushes Hunt up against the cage in a clinch.
Kiilopaa jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hunt walks away with a smile on his face. Kiilopaa gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Hunt closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Kiilopaa has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hunt avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Phol Hunt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pertti Kiilopaa.

Hunt's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hunt misses with a jab to the body
and Kiilopaa counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Kiilopaa shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hunt but Hunt pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kiilopaa throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kiilopaa throws a combination. Hunt tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
That kick from Hunt tenderised Kiilopaa's leg. Kiilopaa is trying to keep his angry face on.
Hunt slips a jab and a cross from Kiilopaa.

Kiilopaa fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kiilopaa moves out of range as Hunt throws a body kick.
Kiilopaa throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kiilopaa shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Hunt eats them both and turns towards Kiilopaa to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Hunt lands with a slapping head kick.

Hunt clobbers Kiilopaa with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Kiilopaa swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kiilopaa throws a right and a left that Hunt avoids nicely.
Kiilopaa takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kiilopaa moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Kiilopaa misses with a jab, cross combination.

Hunt lands with a nice body punch.
Hunt scores with a jab to the jaw.
Hunt thows a body shot but no joy.
Kiilopaa shoots in but no luck this time.
Kiilopaa looks gassed!
Hunt fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kiilopaa.
Kiilopaa fails to land with a series of punches.
Hunt misses with a straight left.
Hunt throws a body punch but Kiilopaa moves out of range.
Phol Hunt is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hunt swings for the body but Kiilopaa moves out of range.
Kiilopaa sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Hunt digs a good hook to Kiilopaa's body.
Kiilopaa works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Kiilopaa looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Hunt thuds his shin into the meat of Kiilopaa's side.
Hunt looks to throw the jab but Kiilopaa is out of range.
Kiilopaa moves out of range of the strikes.
Hunt misses with a low kick.
Hunt is looking to wear down Kiilopaa with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Hunt throws a push kick but Kiilopaa slaps the foot to one side.
Kiilopaa has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Hunt.
Hunt avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Hunt moves out of range as Kiilopaa strikes.
Hunt stuffs the takedown.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hunt looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hunt's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kiilopaa connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hunt scrambles back to his feet.
Kiilopaa sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Kiilopaa tries to move into range but Hunt moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Hunt bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Hunt.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Kiilopaa rushes Hunt and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Kiilopaa goes for a takedown attempt but Hunt pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Kiilopaa misses with a straight right.
Kiilopaa takes one to the chin there.
Hunt connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kiilopaa's hands.
Hunt with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Hunt connects with a high kick.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hunt throws a nice inside leg kick.
Hunt throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Kiilopaa shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

That was a close round but I would say that Phol Hunt will probably get the nod.

Hunt scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kiilopaa doesn't seem bothered though.

Kiilopaa wants to pass the guard but Hunt is defending well.

Hunt kicks Kiilopaa off and gets back to his feet.

Hunt lands a really nice looking cross but Kiilopaa seems unphased.
Hunt on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Hunt gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Kiilopaa gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
