The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Naro tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Fighter manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Naro drops Fighter with a nice combination! Naro dives into Fighter's guard, looking to finish!
It looks like Experemental Fighter has been cut.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Naro throws and elbow that misses. Fighter uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Naro's guard. Nice move by Fighter!

Naro does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Fighter tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Naro swivels and escapes.
Fighter avoids a punch combination nicely.
Naro manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Fighter on his heels. He'll look to pass Fighter's guard now, I'm sure.

Naro throws a strike but Fighter rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Fighter throws a nice looking combination but Naro bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Naro swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Naro shoots in but no luck this time.
Naro rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fighter moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Naro throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Fighter misses with a takedown attempt - Naro sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Rocky Naro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Experemental Fighter.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Fighter.
Fighter moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Fighter is working to tighten is grip on Naro's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Naro has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Fighter is really squeezing tight and eventually Naro passes out! Fighter breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
