Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bronco Buster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Russell Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Russell Jones is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bronco Buster! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Russell Jones! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some bone on bone action there as Jones checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Buster looks to land a body kick but Jones moved away. Jones blocks the body kick.
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch but Buster swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Buster connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Jones darts in trying to clinch and Buster counters with a nice body shot. Buster scores with the left hand. Jones knows he should have avoided that one. A nice inside leg kick there by Buster. That's going to slow Jones down. Jones walks into a stiff left hand from Buster. Jones tries to clinch but Buster moves out of range. Buster jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
It looks like Russell Jones has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Buster shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Jones eats them both and turns towards Buster to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Jones doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buster lands with a straight right. Jones didn't see that one coming. Buster lands a nice shot that snaps Jones's head back.
Jones tries to clinch up. Jones dodges the punch combination from Buster.
Buster ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jones moves away. Jones shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Buster as he avoids it easily. Buster keeps the fight on the outside. Buster keeps the fight on the outside. Jones tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Nice shot lands for Buster. Buster lands a nice shot to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Buster's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Buster duly obliges.
Jones is rocked! Bronco Buster is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Buster connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Jones is still on wobbly legs! Can Buster finish him? Jones tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Buster counters with a nice low kick that buckles Jones's knee momentarily. Jones seems to have recovered his senses. Jones showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Buster.
Buster throws a leg kick but Jones moved away. Buster avoids the body shot from Jones.
Buster scores with a spinning back kick! Buster lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Buster avoids a kick to the body.
Buster connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jones's hands.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buster feints and then cracks Jones's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Jones down. Jones fails with an attempt to clinch.
Buster scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Buster getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Jones takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Jones takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
That has opened up Russell Jones's cut even more. Buster stuns Jones with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jones throws a wild body kick that Buster sees coming a mile off. Buster tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Buster throws a head kick that misses. A nice combination there by Buster.
Buster is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Buster keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Buster takes a swing at Jones's ribcage but misses. Buster scores with a shot to the body.
Jones ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Buster wants to land a leg kick but Jones is out of range. Buster fails to land with a series of punches.
Jones doesn't manage to clinch there - Buster circles away.
Buster takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Buster cracks Jones with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Jones takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jones looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Buster lands a nice leg kick that just misses Jones's sensitive parts. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Buster fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Jones avoids the body shot from Buster.
That kick from Buster tenderised Jones's leg. Jones is trying to keep his angry face on. Buster circles away from the clinch attempt.
Buster throws a push kick but Jones slaps the foot to one side. Jones feints and as Buster raises his hands in defense, Jones changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Jones tries to free his leg and advance position but Buster is retaining full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Buster is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jones is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Buster is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Buster has escaped and now he's on top! Jones keeping moving, preventing Buster from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Buster can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Jones is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Buster is aware though and is defending well. Jones is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Buster escapes and throws Jones's legs to the side, diving into side control! Buster controls the position. Jones tries to bench press Buster off him but Buster keeps the position. Jones gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Buster in particular looking to stall.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buster prevents Jones from improving his position. Buster has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Jones is working to get back to half guard.
Buster looking to control but Jones is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Buster content just to control the position here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones is looking to get to half guard. Jones is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Russell Jones will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Russell Jones's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Buster cracks a nice hook into Jones's ribs. Bronco Buster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Buster takes a swing at Jones's ribcage but misses. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Buster throws a low kick but Jones moves out of range easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters circle momentarily. Buster darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Jones tries to clinch up but Buster circles away and keeps his distance. The fighters circling - Buster throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Buster is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Jones takes a shot right to the bread basket. Jones takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Buster scores with a punch to the head. Jones is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Buster. Jones will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Buster punishes Jones's body with a nice straight punch. Buster tests Jones's chin there with a solid looking shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A slapping leg kick lands for Jones.
Buster swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jones tries to clinch but fails miserably and Jones takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Buster fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Jones. Jones fails in his attempt to clinch. Buster is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jones can do to turn this around? Jones connects with a leg kick. Buster looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Jones scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up but Buster swats him away and circles back towards the center. Bronco Buster is winning the standup battle so far. Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Buster paws at him with a jab and circles away. Buster fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jones looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buster misses with a head kick.
Buster throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Buster throws a body punch but Jones moves out of range. Buster swats away the attempt to clinch by Jones. Buster throws a head kick but Jones moves out of range.
Jones wants to clinch up but Buster keeps it at a distance. Jones is looking to clinch but Buster is avoiding it.
Buster throws a low kick, looking for Jones's leg but Jones calmly moves out of range. Buster fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Jones shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Buster but Buster pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Buster connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Jones has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Buster finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Buster swats away the attempt to clinch by Jones. Buster throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Buster lands a head kick. Jones smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
The cut above Russell Jones's eye is starting to cause him problems now. A thudding body kick lands there by Jones!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jones tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Buster manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Jones has a takedown stuffed.
And that's the end of the fight! Bronco Buster showed his dominance in that final round. I think Buster has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
