Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Remy Lava (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Lava might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Numero 1. Thomas has chosen Devil went down to Georgia as his entrance music. John Thomas has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
18 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Thomas!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Lou da Vinci and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas moves out of range of the leg kick from Lava.
Lava throws a series of punches but Thomas moves out of range.
Lava fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Thomas manages to avoid it.
Lava throws a wild body kick that Thomas sees coming a mile off.
Thomas loads up on a big right hand but Lava slips the punch.
Thomas lands a jab-cross combination.
Lava fails to land with a series of punches.
A slow jab from Thomas misses its intended target.
A punch combination from Lava misses.
Thomas jabs Lava to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Lava swings for the body but Thomas moves out of range.
Thomas paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Thomas fails to land the takedown.
Lava throws out a powerful jab.
Thomas lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lava misses with a straight left.
Thomas looks to land a left hand but Lava moved out of range nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Thomas misses with an uppercut. Lava saw that one coming.
Lava throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Thomas on the side of the head.
Lava throws a body punch but Thomas moves out of range.
Good exchange - Lava coming out on top.
Thomas wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Lava keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Thomas takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Lava misses with a low kick.
Thomas feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Lava is trying to keep Thomas in close.
Thomas throws a big right hand that misses.
Thomas trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Thomas accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Thomas is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Lava has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Thomas is looking to defend but Lava has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Thomas! Lava pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Thomas taps out and this one is all over!
