Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jonas Ausrin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Snow Crash!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ausrin misses with a lunging right hand

and Crash decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Ausrin's guard.
Crash forces his way into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Crash looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Crash not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Ausrin taking some punishment here, with Crash in his half guard.

Crash is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Ausrin on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ausrin tries to get out of the position.
Crash slows the pace down in half guard.

Crash thows a huge punch but Ausrin dodges it nicely.
Crash not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Crash not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Crash looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ausrin is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Crash scores with a couple of nice shots.
Crash throwing shots but Ausrin is blocking nicely.
Crash content to control rather than advance.

Ausrin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Crash on the ground.
Crash moves into full mount! Ausrin won't be happy about that!
Crash sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Ausrin is bucking up trying to escape but Crash cracks him with another couple of good strikes.


It looks like Jonas Ausrin has been cut.
Crash has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Crash controlling the position easily from mount.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Crash throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Ausrin because Crash loaded up on that one.
Crash looking to control and managing it successfully.
Crash looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Some wild striking there from Ausrin.
Ausrin stuffs the takedown.
A head kick misses from Ausrin.
Jonas Ausrin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice body kick there by Ausrin.
A solid leg kick lands there for Ausrin.
Ausrin lands a leg kick that knocks Crash off balance momentarily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Ausrin throws a head kick that misses.
Ausrin throws a head kick but Crash moves out of range.
Crash throws a hook to the side of Ausrin's head but Ausrin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A head kick from Ausrin lands but Crash takes it in his stride.


It looks like Snow Crash has been cut.
Ausrin goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Ausrin throws a head kick that misses.
Crash throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Jonas Ausrin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Crash showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ausrin.

Ausrin lands a big head kick that sends Crash tumbling to the mat! Ausrin takes a step backwards and waves Crash back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Ausrin misses with a double jab.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Crash tries to bum rush Ausrin with a series of wild strikes but Ausrin uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A head kick misses from Ausrin.
Ausrin dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ausrin throws a body kick that misses.
Ausrin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ausrin throws a head kick that misses.
Jonas Ausrin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ausrin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Crash dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Crash is looking to slow Ausrin down with leg kicks.
Crash takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.


Jeez, Jonas Ausrin's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

Crash shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Ausrin avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Crash sitting in guard here, content to control.
Crash lands a couple of decent looking shots.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jonas Ausrin's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
