Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dazo is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Dazo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Apene tries to avoid it but Dazo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Apene to the ground. Apene escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Dazo doesn't succeed with the takedown and Apene counters with a nice double leg into side control. Dazo won't be happy with that. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Apene has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Dazo is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Apene yanks on the arm and Dazo is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Apene.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Pence Apene!
