Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Curtis James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Jacobs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jacob Jacobs!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James fails to land with a series of punches.
James rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jacobs moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
James swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

James gets caught flat footed, as Jacobs shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Jacobs controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Jacobs passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Jacobs advances to full mount.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


The fight stays on the outside here - James looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
James moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Jacobs is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But James has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from James!

James has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Jacobs to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! James is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Jacobs pulls down on the head and he's put James to sleep! This one is all over!
