The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carano shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jones but Jones pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

and Carano counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Carano.

Carano has Jones pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Jones manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jimmy Jones will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Carano changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Carano manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Carano has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jones uses from the top position.

Oh but Carano is tightening it up a little... Jones has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Jones reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Jones taps out! nice BJJ there by Carano!
