Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roy Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stevie Cool (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Parker might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to "Another Body Murdered" by Faith No More and Boo-Yaa T.R.I.B.E.. Cool is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Blind Melon - Skinned. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stevie Cool!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cool throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Parker sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Parker looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Parker misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Parker tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Cool listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

Parker closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Parker gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Cool regains guard.
Cool wants to stand and escape but Parker is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Parker passes Cool's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Parker is nestled in close to Cool, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Cool is trying to get back to full guard.
Cool really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Parker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Cool is trying to stand up here but Parker is controlling him well.

Parker is working for a kimura but Cool is defending it quite comfortably.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cool tries to get to full guard but Parker has control of the leg.

Parker tries to pass the half guard into mount. Cool knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Cool tries to kick Parker off but Parker keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Parker passes the guard and advances to mount!
Parker wants to control the pace but Cool is squirming around nicely.
Cool is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Parker looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Parker looking to ground and pound but Cool is blocking nicely.

Cool regains half guard.
Cool is trying to stand back up but Parker is controlling him

Cool tries to roll over but Parker keeps him under control.
Parker wants to control but Cool is keeping him busy.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cool can do anything to dispel that myth.
Cool wants to get back to his feet.

Parker is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Parker passes the guard and advances to mount!

Parker wants to finish this one by submission but Cool is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Parker.
Cool tries to buck Parker off but he can't manage it.

Parker jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Cool manages to avoid the submission attempt.
You can see the frustration on Cool's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Parker passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Cool!

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Parker has hold of Cool's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Cool manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Cool flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

Parker has control of Cool's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Cool regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Cool is working to get back to half guard.
Parker lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Parker working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Cool tries to reverse the position but Parker maintains control.

Parker trying to control but Cool is having none of it.

Parker is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Parker!
