Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Derek Patterson!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksandr Martynov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Law lands with a good body shot.
Law sizes up Patterson with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Patterson.
Patterson takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Law ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Patterson is looking to clinch but Law is avoiding it.
Patterson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Law counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Law misses with a lunging right hand
and Patterson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Law slaps away a takedown attempt from Patterson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Patterson drops his hands momentarily and Law takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Patterson looks to score with a jab to the body but Law is just out of range.
Nice takedown defense from Law. No joy for Patterson on that attempt.
Spike Law has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Derek Patterson.
Law looks to land a combination but Patterson avoids it well.
Patterson misses with a wild combination.
A looping hook to the body misses from Patterson. Law does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Patterson shoots in for a double leg but Law sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Patterson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Patterson shoots in and drives through. Law sprawls well.
Patterson throws a jab when Law was well out of range.
Patterson just misses with a punch to the body.
Patterson drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Law lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Patterson throws a left and a right that both miss
and Law counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Patterson is rocked!
Law lands a hook that stumbles Patterson back into the ropes. Law follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Patterson to the canvas! Law pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Patterson has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
