Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexandr Borodach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dimentiy Boykin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boykin has chosen Пересмотри as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Dimentiy Boykin told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borodach takes a swing at Boykin's ribcage but misses.
Borodach lands the left hand.

It looks like Dimentiy Boykin has been cut.
Boykin takes one to the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Borodach throws a sloppy head kick and Boykin moves out of range easily.
Alexandr Borodach seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Borodach lands a jab to the nose.
Borodach keeps the fight on the outside.

and Boykin counters by clinching up.

Borodach lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Borodach.

and Boykin moves into the clinch.
Borodach tries to break free but Boykin pushes him back against the ropes.

Borodach wants to get back to striking at distance but Boykin won't allow it.

Boykin gets control of Borodach's arms and successfully pulls guard. Boykin will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Boykin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Borodach gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Borodach got a little sloppy there for a moment and Boykin has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Borodach has managed to get both his arms back between Boykin's legs - danger averted.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Boykin is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Boykin is defending against the submission attempts here by Borodach.

Boykin is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Borodach pulls his head out easily.

Borodach seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Boykin does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Boykin has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Borodach. Oh but Boykin has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Borodach goes limp - he's gone! Boykin jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
