Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alicia Dawn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Long (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Valeri Chadov and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dawn doesn't manage to clinch there - Long circles away.
Dawn tries to clinch but Long is having none of it.
Long swings for the body but Dawn moves out of range.
Long misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dawn.

No joy there for Long, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Long counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Dawn!

Long is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Dawn has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Long looking to control but Dawn is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dawn wants to hold on but Long pushes him away.
Long goes for an armbar but Dawn turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Dawn.

Dawn tries to free his leg and advance position but Long is retaining full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Dawn - that will leave a mark!
Dawn fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Long throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Dawn throws a jab but it's blocked by Long.
Dawn lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Long at a distance.

and Dawn connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

and Long counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Long lands a couple of elbows.
Long gets to his feet. Dawn looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

and Dawn counters with a good, hard body kick but Long shrugs it off.
Long shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dawn but Dawn pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Long throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Long misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dawn.
Dawn darts in trying to clinch
and Long counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Dawn's guard now.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Long wants to control from the top but Dawn keeps moving.
Long trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Long drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Dawn dives on top into guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Long tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Long is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steve Long dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Long throws a body kick the misses
and Dawn counters with a right hand to the body.
Long circles away from the clinch attempt
and Long holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Dawn is pressed up against the cage. Long has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Dawn down to the mat. Dawn avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

and Long counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Dawn!
Long looking for a guillotine from mount but Dawn is having none of it.
Long goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Dawn is on top in guard.
Dawn avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Long has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dawn can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Long wants to sweep but no luck.
Long working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dawn doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dawn manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Steve Long has got the better of the ground game so far.
Long is looking for a triangle here but Dawn uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
