Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maluco Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jason Miller has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jason Miller seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller fails with an attempt to clinch.
Johnson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Miller closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Johnson did well to prevent Miller getting side control. Johnson is refusing to be controlled, as Miller sits in half guard. Miller uses his free foot to push down on Johnson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Johnson. Miller can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Johnson is looking to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller controlling his opponent. Miller wants to take his opponent's back but Johnson doesn't allow it. Miller throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Johnson because Miller loaded up on that one. Miller looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Miller is working for a guillotine from mount but Johnson frees his head quite easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Johnson is looking to escape. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Johnson gets back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson is refusing to be controlled, as Miller sits in half guard. Miller wants to stand up but Johnson has a hold of him and won't allow it. Miller landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Johnson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Miller is working away from the top position though. Johnson is trying to stand back up but Miller is controlling him
Miller wants to take a breather but Johnson is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Miller sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Johnson defending well though. Miller tries to stand and escape but Johnson is controlling the position. Miller is trying to work for a kimura but Johnson is defending well.
Miller wants to stand up but Johnson has a hold of him and won't allow it. Johnson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Miller performing his best blanket impression for a moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Miller dominated that round. That's time! Miller's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Johnson rushes Miller and presses him up against the cage. Johnson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Miller gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Miller has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Johnson regains guard immediately. Miller forces his way into half guard. Johnson is breathing heavily. Miller is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller wants to control but Johnson is keeping him busy. Miller trying to pass the guard but Johnson defending well. Miller working the head and body with strikes. Miller wants to free his trapped foot but Johnson is holding on for dear life with his legs. It looks like Miller is going to stand back up.
Miller throws a strike but Johnson avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller trying to control the position from guard on top but Johnson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Jason Miller just wasn't active enough. Miller shoots in and gets a takedown into Johnson's guard. Miller is looking to stand up but Johnson won't let him. Miller throws a strike but Johnson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Miller working for a triangle but Johnson defends it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller is looking for a triangle but Johnson pushes his legs off easily.
Johnson thows a big elbow that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Johnson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Miller swivels though and keeps the full guard. Johnson looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Miller thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Miller dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Miller looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Miller tries to free his leg and advance position but Johnson is retaining full guard. Miller with a flurry of punches that miss. Jason Miller overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Johnson keeping moving, preventing Miller from controlling successfully. Miller is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Johnson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Miller missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Johnson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Johnson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Miller defends well. Miller has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Miller trying to control the position from guard on top but Johnson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Johnson looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Johnson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Miller trying to control but Johnson is working from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jason Miller. Miller closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Johnson's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller looking to pass the guard. Johnson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Miller is looking to work some ground and pound but Johnson has wrist control. Johnson wants to sweep here but Miller controlling him for the moment. Johnson keeping moving, preventing Miller from controlling successfully. Miller throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Johnson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Miller wants to control from the top but Johnson keeps moving.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jason Miller wasn't doing enough on the ground. Miller cracks Johnson with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Miller moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Miller tries to score with a low kick but Johnson moves his leg out of the way. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Miller scores with a takedown into Johnson's guard. Johnson wants to sweep here but Miller controlling him for the moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Jason Miller showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Miller, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
