Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Alexandre Firmino and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ranallo has his takedown stuffed
and Rodriguez counters with a leg kick.
Ranallo blocks a head kick by Rodriguez.
Rodriguez throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Rodriguez throws a shot from downtown. Ranallo moves away and avoids it.
Rodriguez throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Ranallo's head.
Rodriguez connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Ranallo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Lucho Rodriguez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fernando Ranallo.
Good leg kick by Rodriguez there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Ranallo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rodriguez swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Rodriguez throws a body punch but Ranallo moves out of range.
Rodriguez swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Ranallo.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rodriguez tries a head kick but it misses.

Ranallo misses with a hook. Rodriguez ducked under it nicely.

and Ranallo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Rodriguez fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Ranallo tries to clinch up but Rodriguez circles away and keeps his distance.
Ranallo closes the distance and clinches up with Rodriguez, looking for a takedown. Ranallo pushes Rodriguez against the cage but Rodriguez circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ranallo takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
A lazy left from Rodriguez finds it's target.
A punch combination from Rodriguez misses.
Rodriguez fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ranallo.
Rodriguez throws a combination. Ranallo tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Ranallo fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Rodriguez tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ranallo was well out of range. Poor timing from Rodriguez.

Rodriguez swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Rodriguez.
Rodriguez fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ranallo.
Rodriguez connects with a leg kick. Ranallo looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Ranallo slips a jab and a cross from Rodriguez.
Rodriguez throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rodriguez swings for the body but Ranallo moves out of range.
Ranallo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rodriguez pinned against the cage. Rodriguez gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rodriguez lands a body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lucho Rodriguez dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Rodriguez misses with a wild combination.
Ranallo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rodriguez swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ranallo tries to clinch but Rodriguez is having none of it.
Rodriguez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rodriguez tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Ranallo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ranallo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rodriguez swivels and escapes.
Lucho Rodriguez is winning the standup battle so far.
Rodriguez feints a jab promting Ranallo to slip. Rodriguez then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Ranallo slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
A combination from Rodriguez does no damage.
Rodriguez throws a head kick but Ranallo moves out of range.

A big right from Rodriguez misses.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Rodriguez misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lucho Rodriguez is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ranallo slips a jab and a cross from Rodriguez.
Rodriguez throws a shot to the body.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ranallo looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Rodriguez connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Ranallo throws a shot from downtown. Rodriguez moves away and avoids it.

Ranallo dives in and scores a takedown into Rodriguez's guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Ranallo's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Rodriguez tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Ranallo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Ranallo pushes down on Rodriguez's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Ranallo working over Rodriguez with some ground and pound. Rodriguez looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ranallo is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Rodriguez!
Ranallo working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Rodriguez turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Ranallo off and cradles Rodriguez's limp body as Ranallo celebrates with his corner.
