Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anjolito Quintana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Quintana might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The APL Song. Quintana has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Derek Wright will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wright throws a series of strikes that have Quintana backpedaling.
Quintana throws a jab when Wright was well out of range.
Quintana is breathing heavily.
Wright jabs Quintana to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Wright works over Quintana's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Anjolito Quintana has been cut.
Wright will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Wright lands with a slapping head kick.

Wright scores with a one two! Quintana had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Wright moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Wright throws a right hand that Quintana ducks under and follows up with a left that Quintana also avoids with ease.

Wright connects with a nice looking jab.
Wright lands a high kick!
Quintana is rocked!

Oh Quintana is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wright is working the combinations to good effect here.
Wright rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Quintana moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Wright fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Quintana square on the jaw! Damn, Quintana is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
