Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jupiter James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James comes into the arena with Mudvayne--Not Falling blaring out of the sound system. Gracie comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Matanza - Meio Psicopata kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Chuck Gracie looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jupiter James! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chuck Gracie! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Felipe Paraventi and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie stuffs the takedown. Gracie wants to clinch. James shoots in for a takedown but Gracie shows good takedown defense. Jupiter James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gracie tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Gracie tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. James has managed to clinch.
Gracie lands a nice elbow. James landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
James goes for a takedown attempt but Gracie pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

James closes the distance and clinches up with Gracie, looking for a takedown. James pushes Gracie against the cage but Gracie circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. James changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gracie tries to avoid it but James manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gracie to the ground. Gracie escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. James drops Gracie with a beautiful combination! Gracie stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - James is looking for the KO!
Gracie is rocked! James shoots in looking for a takedown. Gracie tries to sprawl out of it but James keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gracie manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Gracie is still on wobbly legs! Can James finish him? Gracie keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. An inside leg kick lands from Gracie. Gracie seems to have recovered his senses. Gracie throws a series of punches but James avoids them all with ease. James shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gracie as he avoids it easily. James shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Gracie lands a two punch combo.

Gracie escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. James misses with a takedown attempt - Gracie sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. James scores a nice knee to the body.

James is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Gracie avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Jupiter James dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Gracie dips down and scores with a jab to the body. James looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Gracie! Gracie really doesn't want to stay on the ground with James. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. James looking to finish with strikes here!
James moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Gracie has worked his arm free - good work by Gracie!

James shoots in but Gracie avoids the takedown attempt easily. James tries to clinch up but Gracie circles away and keeps his distance. Gracie thuds a left hand into James's body. Gracie drives through and clinches with James against the cage.

And that's the end of the fight! Jupiter James showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for James, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
