PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sho Fukamachi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kid Kamakazi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fukamachi kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Genki Sudo world order mindshift. The crowd seem to be enjoying Kamakazi's choice of entrance music: Cooking by the book. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kamakazi misses with a double jab.
A combination from Kamakazi does no damage.
Fukamachi shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kamakazi as he jumps to the side.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Fukamachi is trying to control the action in half guard but Kamakazi is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Kamakazi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fukamachi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Fukamachi lands a nice short elbow.

Fukamachi will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

You can see the frustration on Kamakazi's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Kamakazi has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Fukamachi is working away from the top position though.

The fighters are battling for position here. Kamakazi manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Kamakazi has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Fukamachi should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Kamakazi has tightened it up now! Fukamachi should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
