Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simo Silakka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodney Holmes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holmes is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: All of the Lights. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmes connects with a nice looking jab.
Holmes scores with a jab to the body.
Holmes uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Silakka has time to react.
Silakka throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Silakka lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Silakka slips a jab from Holmes.
Silakka walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Holmes checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Silakka throws a push kick but Holmes slaps the foot to one side.
Holmes throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Silakka uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Holmes.
Holmes connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Silakka throws a leg kick
and Holmes counters with a nice body shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Holmes fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Silakka manages to avoid it.

Silakka throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Holmes waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Silakka.
Holmes wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Silakka turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Holmes throws a lazy right hand but Silakka sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Good exchange - Holmes coming out on top.
Silakka avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Silakka attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Silakka throws a body punch but Holmes moves out of range.
Holmes ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Silakka moves away.
Holmes moves into range and connects with a jab.

Holmes swings for the body but Silakka moves out of range.
Holmes throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Holmes scores with a jab. Silakka acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Holmes swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Silakka takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
This has been an exciting period of action!

A looping hook to the body misses from Silakka. Holmes does a little dance to reset his feet.
Silakka tries to work over Holmes's front leg with a kick but Holmes checks it.

Holmes uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Silakka.
Silakka on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Silakka connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Silakka takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Silakka is rocked!
Holmes catches Silakka with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Silakka forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
