Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rakharo Ko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antti Atleetti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ko's entrance music is Monster. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Atleetti's choice of entrance music: Beyonce - Halo. Antti Atleetti has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rakharo Ko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Antti Atleetti! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ko tries to clinch up but Atleetti circles away and keeps his distance. Ko closes the distance and pushes Atleetti back into the cage. Ko is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Atleetti gets control of Ko's arms and successfully pulls guard. Atleetti will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Ko tries to stand but Atleetti is controlling from the bottom. Ko wants to stand and escape but instead Atleetti has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Atleetti pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ko is keeping the position for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ko is looking to stand back up but Atleetti counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Ko.
That's one minute gone in the round. Atleetti trying to control the pace. Atleetti prevents Ko from standing back up.
Ko is trying to escape back to his feet but Atleetti uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Ko is not content to let Atleetti control the position. Ko is trying to buck Atleetti off. Atleetti moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Ko is not content to let Atleetti control the position. Ko is pushing Atleetti's head away, looking to escape. Atleetti manages to hold on to the position though. Atleetti is looking to take a break and control but Ko is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Atleetti is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ko knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ko is pushing Atleetti's head away, looking to escape. Atleetti manages to hold on to the position though. Ko takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
You can see the frustration on Ko's face as Atleetti controls the position. Ko tries to escape but Atleetti is in control. Ko trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Atleetti is looking to take a break and control but Ko is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ko pushes Atleetti away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Atleetti gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Atleetti just content to control the position. Ko is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Atleetti has just dragged him back down to the mat. Ko is breathing heavily. Atleetti wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ko, who protects the arm well. Atleetti remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Atleetti is looking to take a break and control but Ko is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Atleetti controls the position from side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Antti Atleetti dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Ko tries to clinch up and Atleetti counters with a left to the body. Atleetti throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ko's waist but Ko gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Atleetti off to one side. Atleetti shoots for a double leg takedown but Ko sprawls well. He's pushed Atleetti's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Ko doesn't manage to clinch there - Atleetti circles away.
Ko tries to close the distance and clinch up but Atleetti swats him away and circles back towards the center. Ko tries to clinch up so Atleetti counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Atleetti stops Ko from standing up. Ko keeping moving, preventing Atleetti from controlling successfully. Atleetti prevents Ko from getting back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ko is wriggling around but Atleetti manages to pass to half guard.
Atleetti works his foot free and advances to mount. Atleetti looking to control and managing it successfully. Atleetti is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Atleetti extends the arm and Ko is forced to tap!
