Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ryan Johannsen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brah At Hammed! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johannsen scores with a nice right hand.
It looks like Brah At Hammed has been cut. Johannsen gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows At Hammed to score an easy takedown into full guard. At Hammed is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. At Hammed stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Johannsen swivels though and keeps the full guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Johannsen being controlled here, momentarily. At Hammed trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Johannsen manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
That's one minute gone in the round. Johannsen wants to get up but he can't break At Hammed's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. At Hammed keeping moving, preventing Johannsen from controlling successfully. Johannsen has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. At Hammed is pulling down on Johannsen's head to control his posture. At Hammed looking to hit a scissor sweep but Johannsen is one step ahead there. At Hammed seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ryan Johannsen. Johannsen takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

At Hammed closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Johannsen's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Johannsen working a defensive guard here.
At Hammed slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. At Hammed forces his way into half guard. At Hammed is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Johannsen sees it coming and defends easily. At Hammed is taking a breather. Johannsen says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's three minutes gone in the round. At Hammed's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. At Hammed looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
At Hammed is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Johannsen sees it coming and defends easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. At Hammed is working for a submission of some sort.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. At Hammed seems to be looking for submissions.

Brah At Hammed dominated that round. The cut man is working on Brah At Hammed's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
A looping hook to the body misses from Johannsen. At Hammed does a little dance to reset his feet. Johannsen connects with a body shot. Ryan Johannsen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. At Hammed tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Johannsen paws at him with a jab and circles away. At Hammed moves in looking to clinch but Johannsen pushes him off. Johannsen misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
At Hammed on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. At Hammed shoots in but Johannsen avoids the takedown attempt easily. Johannsen throws a head kick but At Hammed moves out of range.
Ryan Johannsen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Johannsen tries a head kick but it misses.
At Hammed uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Johannsen.
At Hammed has Johannsen up against the cage in a clinch.
Johannsen tries to break free but At Hammed pushes him back against the cage. Johannsen is trying to force a seperation but At Hammed has the dominant position. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! At Hammed dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. A right handed body shot lands from At Hammed.
At Hammed lands a knee to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. At Hammed cracks Johannsen with a nice body shot. Johannsen is trying to force a seperation but At Hammed has the dominant position. Johannsen has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Johannsen wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but At Hammed has him pressed against the cage. The referee is keeping an eye on At Hammed - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
At Hammed manages to break the clinch.

Johannsen looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. At Hammed has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Johannsen clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Johannsen is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if At Hammed gets his way!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Johannsen preventing the rear naked choke attempt from At Hammed. At Hammed working for a choke but Johannsen is defending well. Johannsen defends a prolonged rear naked choke attempt and turns nicely into his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. At Hammed manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
At Hammed is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Johannsen to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Johannsen shrugs it off. At Hammed looking to isolate an arm here. Johannsen doesn't see it coming and as At Hammed extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by At Hammed!
