PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zeus Vader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frederic Bastiat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bastiat is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Superstition. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bastiat takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
The fight stays on the outside here - Vader looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bastiat.
Vader feints and then cracks Bastiat's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bastiat down.
Bastiat throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vader's waist but Vader gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bastiat off to one side.

Bastiat takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
