Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Carlos Peterson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Small!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peterson misses with a takedown

and Small counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Peterson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Small walks away with a smile on his face. Peterson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Small moves into the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carlos Peterson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Peterson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Small is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
The referee calls for Small to work.

Small escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Carlos Peterson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Small misses with a double jab.

Small closes the distance and pushes Peterson back into the ropes.
Small gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Peterson.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Peterson takes an elbow to the temple.


It looks like Carlos Peterson has been cut.
Peterson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Small smiles and moves away.
Peterson shoots in looking for a takedown but Small manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Peterson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Small darts in and clinches Peterson up against the ropes.

Small manages to break the clinch.
Peterson shoots in but Small avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Small gets a takedown into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Peterson slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Peterson is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Small rolls with it to try and escape but Peterson cranks on the arm and Small is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
