The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, John Mangel and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Collins throws a hook but Mctwist avoids it easily.
Collins stalks Mctwist and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Mctwist's face. Mctwist staggers backwards, shaken.
Mctwist digs a good body shot into Collins's ribs.
Mctwist with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Collins to score with a decent uppercut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Collins missing with a left hand there. Mctwist was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Collins throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Collins scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Collins takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Good standup being displayed there by Collins as he connects with a hook.
Mctwist just misses with a punch to the body.
Collins displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mctwist throws out the jab.
Mctwist misses with an attempted mid kick.
Mctwist uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Collins.
Collins throws the left hand but Mctwist avoids the punch easily.
Mctwist cracks Collins with a good jab.
Collins darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Collins darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Mctwist's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Collins before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Fred Collins!
