Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dmitriy Korn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Radek Kowalski! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Korn tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kowalski swivels and escapes. Korn misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Korn leaves Kowalski with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Korn shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Kowalski counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dmitriy Korn. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kowalski's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Kowalski makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Kowalski loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Korn takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. A control attempt from Korn but he's now mounted! Korn is bucking up trying to escape but Kowalski cracks him with another couple of good strikes. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Korn looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Kowalski is trying to control the action in half guard but Korn is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dmitriy Korn has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Korn actively working from the bottom here.
And that's the end of the fight! Radek Kowalski comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Kowalski has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
