Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rizio Tender (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franklyn Andrews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andrews is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Damian Marley ft Nas - As we Enter. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rizio Tender! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Franklyn Andrews! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Andrews closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Tender to the mat! Tender manages to get full guard. Andrews trying to control but Tender is working from the bottom. Andrews would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tender is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Andrews wants to stand but Tender has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Andrews is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Andrews postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Andrews gets a double leg takedown into Tender's guard. Tender is breathing heavily. Andrews looking to pass the guard. Andrews trying to stand up but can't free himself from Tender's guard. Tender might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. That's two minutes gone in the round. Andrews wants to stand but Tender is controlling his posture from full guard. Tender trying to keep a closed guard but Andrews is proving a slippery customer.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Rizio Tender just wasn't active enough. Andrews tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Andrews moves into range and clinches up with Tender. Andrews turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Andrews throws a strike aimed at the side of Tender's head but Tender avoids it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tender is trying to improve his position. Andrews wants to stand but Tender has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard. Tender not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Andrews postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Tender is trying to control the position but Andrews postures up. Andrews decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Andrews gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Andrews will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Tender up against the cage. Andrews gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Tender controlling the position for now. Tender wants to control but Andrews is keeping busy.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Tender is trying to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Andrews decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Tender is looking to control Andrews's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Tender avoid being mounted? Tender is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Andrews is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Andrews in particular looking to stall. Andrews is looking to take a break and control but Tender is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Tender has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Andrews is working away from the top position though.

Andrews is looking to stand up but Tender won't let him. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Tender is trying to control the position but Andrews postures up. Tender is fighting it off but Andrews persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Tender's guard against the cage. Tender is trying to control the position but Andrews postures up. Tender is pulling down on Andrews's head to control his posture. Tender keeping moving, preventing Andrews from controlling successfully. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Andrews trying to stand up but can't free himself from Tender's guard. Andrews being controlled here momentarily.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Franklyn Andrews hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Andrews closes the distance and clinches. Andrews manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Tender takes a knee to the side of the body. A knee to the head by Andrews.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee is keeping an eye on Andrews - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Andrews breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tender shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Andrews as he avoids it easily. Andrews closes the distance and clinches. Andrews escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Andrews throws a sloppy head kick and Tender moves out of range easily. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Andrews moves into range and clinches up with Tender. Andrews lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Franklyn Andrews showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Franklyn Andrews seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Andrews fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Tender to the ground. Andrews is now in Tender's guard. Andrews looking to pass the guard. Andrews wants to get up but he can't break Tender's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Tender wants to sweep here but Andrews controlling him for the moment. Andrews tries to stand but Tender is controlling from the bottom. Andrews is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Andrews pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Tender tumbling to the mat - Andrews dives into Tender's guard. Tender controls Andrews momentarily but Andrews frees himself. Andrews must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Andrews wants to stand but Tender is controlling his posture from full guard.

Andrews loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Tender seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Rizio Tender. Tender shoots in for a double leg but Andrews sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Rizio Tender has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Andrews lands a head kick!
Horrible takedown by Tender or perhaps it was just good defense by Andrews which made him look bad. Rizio Tender has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Franklyn Andrews is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rizio Tender. That's going to take a lot out of him. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Andrews throws a head kick that Tender semi-blocks.
And that's the end of the fight! Franklyn Andrews comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Andrews has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
