Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Don Max (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddy Wally (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Don Max!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eddy Wally!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Max or perhaps it was just good defense by Wally which made him look bad.

Max looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Wally!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Wally is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Wally is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Wally tries to hold on but Max pushes him away.
Max pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Wally slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

Wally is looking to control Max's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Wally avoid being mounted?
Max perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Max is thwarting Wally's attempts to control the position.
Max is taking a breather. Wally says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Don Max just wasn't active enough.
Max shoots in for a takedown but Wally shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Don Max seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wally shoots in but Max avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Wally shoots in looking for a takedown. Max tries to sprawl out of it but Wally keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Max manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Sloppy strikes from Max. Those never looked like landing.

Max gets control of Wally's arms and successfully pulls guard. Max will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Max pulls Wally in close to his closed guard and prevents Wally from doing any damage or advancing position.
Wally is looking to stand up but Max won't let him.
Max knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wally on the ground.
Max can't keep his opponent in guard - Wally advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Max wants to control but Wally is keeping busy.
Wally passes the guard and advances to mount!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Max tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Max tries to control the position but Wally now has his back.

Wally has good solid back control here.
Max controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
Max is breathing heavily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Wally working for a choke but Max is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Max shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Wally as he jumps to the side.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Eddy Wally showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Wally jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Max walks away with a smile on his face. Wally gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Don Max.
