Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Viljo Suokas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Nut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Terry Nut is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nut thuds his right hand into Suokas's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
A big left from Suokas misses.
Suokas throws a shot to the body.
Suokas lands an overhand right.
Nut lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Nut lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Suokas circles away quickly and effectively.

Suokas takes the fight into the clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nut is trying to break free.
Nut tries to circle away but Suokas has him pinned against the cage.
Suokas throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Nuts head.
A left hand lands to the body for Suokas.
A body shot lands from Suokas.
Nut looks gassed!
Suokas's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Suokas lands with a short punch from the clinch.
A right handed body shot lands from Suokas.
Suokas lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Nut backwards.
Suokas just leaning against Nut, taking a breather.
Suokas lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Nut backwards.

Suokas works on Nut's body with a couple of short punches.
Suokas lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Suokas breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nut takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Terry Nut seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Suokas drives through and clinches with Nut against the cage.
Suokas throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Suokas lands a left hand.
Suokas lands with a light punch inside.

Nut is rocked!

Nut is still on wobbly legs! Can Suokas finish him?
Suokas stalls.
Suokas lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Nut backwards.
Suokas creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Nut with a big uppercut! Nut tries to clinch up but Suokas pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Nut to the mat! Nut covers up and Suokas unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
