Miller comes to the cage accompanied by On to the Next One. Striker has chosen Rage Against The Machine - Killing in The Name as his entrance music. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, David Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 1, fighting out of London, Thai Striker!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Striker fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Miller sprawls well initially but Striker persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Miller tries to roll over but Striker keeps him under control.
Miller moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Striker won't allow Miller to sweep him here.

Miller has an active guard here but Striker has managed to pass into half guard.
Striker wants to get back to his feet.
Miller tries to get to full guard but Striker has control of the leg.
Miller is working hard here to advance position.
Striker is thwarting Miller's attempts to control the position.

Miller wants to improve his position but Striker is controlling well.
Striker takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Miller is looking for a sweep. Striker is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Striker tries to stand and escape but Miller is controlling the position.

Thai Striker has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Miller is looking to clinch but Striker is avoiding it.
Miller looks for a takedown but Striker sprawls well.
Striker avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Miller doesn't manage to clinch there - Striker circles away.

Miller drives through with a takedown into Striker's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Striker is trying to control the action in half guard but Miller is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Thai Striker wasn't active enough on the ground.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

David Miller dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Striker tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Miller manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
That kick from Striker tenderised Miller's leg. Miller is trying to keep his angry face on.
Striker lands a slapping body shot.
Miller looks for a takedown but Striker sprawls well.

Miller shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Miller throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Miller is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Striker!
David Miller overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Miller has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Striker's face.
Miller throws a strike there. Striker manages to avoid it well and slips a leg under to get to half guard.

Miller drops back, looking for a kneebar! Striker looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Striker looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Striker!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Miller manages to work his way to half guard, despite Striker's best efforts.
Miller tries to get to full guard but Striker has control of the leg.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The fighters are battling for position here. Miller manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Striker engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Striker wants to get up but he can't break Miller's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Miller wants to sweep here but Striker controlling him for the moment.

Miller isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Striker stacks Miller on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Striker!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Striker prevents Miller from getting the reversal.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

David Miller dominated that second round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Miller tries to score a power double leg takedown but Striker sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Miller somewhat.

Striker clinches up with Miller and pushes him back against the cage.

Miller tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Striker just stands there and leans against the cage.

Miller jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Striker walks away with a smile on his face. Miller gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Striker is looking to slow Miller down with leg kicks.
Miller checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Thai Striker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Miller feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Striker wants to stand and escape but Miller is having none of it.
Miller in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Miller postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Miller wants to control from the top but Striker keeps moving.

Miller is looking to work some ground and pound but Striker has wrist control.

Miller drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Striker dives on top into guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Miller is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Miller manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Thai Striker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Miller has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
