The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Joseph Jones and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodrigez keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Nietzsche works Rodrigez's body with a nice hook.
Rodrigez doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Nietzsche counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Nietzsche throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Nietzsche.

Rodrigez uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Nietzsche.

It looks like Junior Rodrigez has been cut.
Nietzsche throws a low kick but Rodrigez avoids it.
Friedrich Nietzsche seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nietzsche instigates a clinch.

Nietzsche postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Rodrigez badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Nietzsche around the waist but Nietzsche pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Nietzsche is the winner by TKO! Nietzsche jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
