Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Will Clarke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Krohn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krohn rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Clarke moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Alex Krohn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Krohn misses with a kick to the body.
Clarke lands a high kick!
It looks like Alex Krohn has been cut. Clarke misses with a takedown attempt - Krohn sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Krohn is trying hard to land a takedown here. Clarke sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Krohn pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Clarke moves out of range of the body kick. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Clarke slips a jab and a cross from Krohn.
Clarke fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Krohn shoots in and drives through. Clarke sprawls well. Krohn tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Clarke swivels and escapes. Will Clarke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Krohn. Krohn stuffs the takedown attempt from Clarke. Clarke gets slowly back to his feet. Clarke closes the distance and pushes Krohn back into the cage.

Clarke has clasped his hands together around Krohn's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Clarke tries to move to mount but Krohn blocks the move with his legs. Clarke is looking to take a break and control but Krohn is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Krohn throws Clarke to one side and escapes!
That's two minutes gone in the round. A head kick misses from Krohn. Krohn lands a really nice looking cross but Clarke seems unphased.

The fight stays on the outside here - Clarke looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Krohn changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Clarke has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Will Clarke has been cut. Clarke is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nice shot by Krohn. Nice takedown defense from Krohn. No joy for Clarke on that attempt. Clarke checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Some bone on bone action there as Clarke checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Krohn lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Clarke backs up against the cage.
Krohn lands with a good body shot. Krohn has taken the fight to the clinch.
Krohn escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Krohn bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Clarke's head backwards. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Krohn rushes Clarke and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Krohn stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Krohn wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Clarke tries for a takedown but Krohn manages to get underhooks.
Krohn throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Krohn is looking to break free of the clinch but Clarke has double underhooks. Krohn has had enough of the clinch but Clarke keeps him there for the moment. Clarke has Krohn pressed against the cage, preventing Krohn from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Krohn wants to break the clinch but can't.
Clarke tries to break the clinch but Krohn is controlling the position. Krohn keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Clarke's efforts to push away. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Krohn manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alex Krohn dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Krohn throws the kick towards the body but Clarke avoids it. Krohn takes one on the button. Krohn closes the distance and clinches. Clarke breaks from the clinch.
Alex Krohn seems to be getting the better of the standup. Krohn's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Krohn duly obliges. Clarke slips a jab and a cross from Krohn.
Krohn comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Clarke shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Krohn as he jumps to the side. Krohn scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Krohn throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Clarke's waist but Clarke gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Krohn off to one side. Sloppy strikes from Krohn. Those never looked like landing. Some wild striking there from Krohn.

Krohn pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Krohn's corner calls for a 1-2. Krohn obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Krohn lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Clarke circles away quickly and effectively. Clarke shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Clarke looking to finish with strikes here!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Clarke wants to control the pace but Krohn is squirming around nicely. Clarke is really struggling to control Krohn but he's trying to hold on to the position. Krohn is working to get back to half guard.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Krohn. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Krohn wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clarke thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Clarke stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Clarke has a takedown stuffed. Krohn shoots in looking for a takedown. Clarke tries to sprawl out of it but Krohn keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Clarke manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Krohn throws a solid leg kick but Clarke takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Krohn.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A left and a right from Krohn both land. Nice combination. Clarke stuffs the takedown attempt from Krohn. Krohn gets slowly back to his feet. Krohn shoots for a takedown but Clarke saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Krohn wants to clinch up but Clarke keeps it at a distance. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Clarke stuffs the takedown attempt from Krohn. Krohn gets slowly back to his feet. Clarke shoots in for a takedown but Krohn shows good takedown defense. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Clarke is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Krohn misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Krohn shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Clarke eats them both and turns towards Krohn to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Clarke looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Clarke gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Clarke tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Krohn is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Clarke buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Clarke!! Clarke is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Krohn throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alex Krohn!
