Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Samuel Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Otto Santos!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson dives in and scores a takedown into Santos's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Santos pushes Jackson off and gets back to his feet.
Jackson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Santos's waist but Santos gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jackson off to one side.
Jackson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Jackson tries to clinch up.

No luck for Santos with that takedown attempt.
Santos fails with a takedown attempt.
Santos closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Santos is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jackson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Santos in side control lands a decent elbow.
Santos lands a nice forearm strike.
Santos looks up at the clock and then as Jackson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Santos smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Jackson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Santos on the ground.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Santos trying to control the action but Jackson is working from the bottom.
Santos is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jackson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Santos swings around for an armbar but Jackson sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Santos's guard.

Jackson stops Santos from standing up.
Jackson throws and elbow that misses. Santos uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jackson's guard. Nice move by Santos!
Santos throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Santos accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Santos is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Santos passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Jackson takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jackson is not content to let Santos control the position.

Santos misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Santos cracks Jackson with a big right hand but Jackson just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Jackson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jackson tries to get out of the position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Santos lands a nice forearm strike.
Santos works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Santos cracks Jackson with a big right hand but Jackson just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Jackson parries the strikes from Santos easily there. Santos is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Jackson to escape.

Santos shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Jackson is on queer street and Santos is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!
