Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lars Christiansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris McPheters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lars Christiansen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris McPheters!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice combination there by Christiansen.
McPheters moves out of range of the strikes.

Christiansen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. McPheters looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Christiansen wants to control but McPheters is keeping him busy.
Christiansen is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because McPheters is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Christiansen is really struggling to control McPheters but he's trying to hold on to the position.
