Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Quinto Connor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Rich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Quinto Connor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rick Rich! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rich rushes Connor and presses him up against the cage. Connor misses with a knee strike.
Rich tries to score a body lock takedown but Connor shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Connor can't break the clinch.
Rich prevents a takedown attempt there.
Rich tries for a takedown. No joy.
Rich wants to get back to striking at distance but Connor won't allow it.
Rich has had enough of the clinch but Connor keeps him there for the moment. Connor drags the fight down to the ground.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Rich working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Connor's head. Rich working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Connor is working an open guard so Rich takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Rich shoots for a double leg takedown but Connor sprawls well. He's pushed Rich's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Quinto Connor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rick Rich. Rich shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rich scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Connor struggling a bit here. Rich landing strikes. Connor is looking to regain half guard here but Rich keeps moving and retains side control. Connor is being controlled here. Rich landing a few strikes. Connor is trying to control Rich's posture but Rich avoids it. Rich decides to stand up, so the ref orders Connor to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rich moves away from the strike by Connor. Rich scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Connor trying to hold on to Rich's head to control him but Rich postures up.
Connor is breathing heavily. Rich is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Let's hope that Rich has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Rick Rich hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Rich fails to land the takedown. Rich shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Connor's guard. Connor is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Rich works a leg free and moves into half guard. Rich slips a nice elbow through Connor's hands, connecting with Connor's forehead.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rich missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Rich wants to work for an arm triangle but Connor is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Rich controlling the pace. Rich is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Connor is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Rich looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's five minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Connor wants to get back to full guard. Rich is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Rich seems to be looking for submissions.

That's six minutes gone in the round. Rich is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Connor! Rich content just to control the position here. Rich avoids the attempt from Connor to control.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Rich wants to finish this one by submission but Connor is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Rich. Rich looking to control and managing it successfully. Rich is landing with some decent strikes but Connor is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Rich looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Connor taking shots to the head. Rich content just to control the position here.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Rich breaks from Connor's wrist control and lands an elbow. Rich stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Connor gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Rich to score an easy takedown into full guard. Rich with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rick Rich dominated that round. That's time! Connor's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Connor shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rich pinned against the cage. Rich gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Rich scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Rich lands an elbow. Connor is trying to improve his position. Rich scores with punches from side control. Rich decides to stand back up. Rich gets a double leg takedown into Connor's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rich is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Connor is trying to control the position but Rich postures up.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Rich shoots in and gets a takedown into Connor's guard. Rich has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Rich with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Rich stays in close to Connor's body and controls the position. Rich landing some decent shots from guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rich is looking to work some ground and pound but Connor has wrist control. Rich sitting in guard, not really doing much. Rich gets to his feet - Connor follows without any prompting. Connor moves to clinch but Rich breaks away so Rich counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rich wants to pass the guard but Connor is keeping the position. Rich controls from within his opponent's guard. Connor wants to sweep here but Rich controlling him for the moment. Rich content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Rich is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rich looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Rich pushes down on Connor's leg and manages to get into half guard. Rich decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Rich forces Connor back against the cage and clinches. Connor jumps guard but Rich stands there with Connor around his waist. Connor gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Rich tries to circle away but Connor has him pinned against the cage. Stalling in the clinch from Rich.
Rich lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Rich is looking to break free of the clinch but Connor has double underhooks. Connor jumps guard but Rich stands there with Connor around his waist. Connor gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Quinto Connor. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rich turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
That's six minutes gone in the round. Rich advances nicely into full mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Connor taking shots to the head. Connor is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Rich locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Connor is forced to tap!
