Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamal Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jude Masterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Masterson's choice of entrance music: Burning Jacob's Ladder. Jamal Jones has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Masterson pinned against the cage. Masterson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Masterson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jones defends it easily.

Masterson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jamal Jones will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Jones closes the distance and clinches up with Masterson, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes Masterson against the cage but Masterson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Masterson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jones has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jones and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Masterson can do anything to dispel that myth.

Masterson's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
