The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roshan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Challa swivels and escapes. Roshan lands an overhand right. Challa feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Roshan's calf. Challa lands a leg kick that knocks Roshan off balance momentarily. Roshan walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Challa feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Roshan's calf. Challa misses with an uppercut. Roshan connects with a crisp jab. Roshan misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Challa.
Roshan looks to land a left hand but Challa moved out of range nicely. Challa connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Challa throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Challa looks to clinch letting Roshan counter with a right hand. Roshan shoots for a double leg takedown but Challa sprawls well. He's pushed Roshan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Challa tries a low kick but Roshan avoids it. Roshan swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Challa. Challa pivots, looking for a leg kick but Roshan is out of range and Challa settles back down. A slapping leg kick lands for Challa.
Roshan throws the kick towards the body but Challa avoids it. Roshan looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Challa trying to control but Roshan postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Roshan throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Roshan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Challa does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Roshan sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Challa defending well though. Roshan seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Roshan is keen to just control but Challa is a slippery customer. Challa tries to get to full guard but Roshan has control of the leg. Roshan is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Roshan looks to land a strike but Challa avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Challa keeping moving, preventing Roshan from controlling successfully. Roshan being controlled here momentarily. Challa is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Roshan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Challa is keeping the position for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Roshan is looking to work some ground and pound but Challa has wrist control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of T Challa. Challa will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Challa on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Challa throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. A telegraphed right hand from Challa misses the target. Challa connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Roshan's hands. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Damian Roshan will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Some bone on bone action there as Roshan checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Roshan shoots for a double leg takedown but Challa sprawls well. He's pushed Roshan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Roshan throws a body punch but Challa moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Challa throws a chopping leg kick but Roshan manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Roshan checks the leg kick nicely there.
Roshan blocks a low kick nicely. A low kick from Challa is predictable there and Roshan counters with a straight right hand. Roshan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Roshan takes a body punch but keeps moving. Roshan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Challa's waist but Challa gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Roshan off to one side. T Challa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damian Roshan. Roshan lands with an overhand left. Roshan tests Challa's chin there with a solid looking shot. Roshan throws a hook but Challa avoids it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Challa throws a lazy right hand but Roshan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Challa misses with a looping left. Challa scores with a head kick. Roshan tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Roshan throws a jab but it's blocked by Challa. Roshan misses with a hook

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Some bone on bone action there as Roshan checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Roshan lands a jab to Challa's midsection. Roshan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Challa avoids it really well and circles away. Roshan fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Challa on the side of the head. T Challa is winning the standup battle so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A head kick misses from Roshan. Roshan throws a series of punches but Challa avoids them all with ease. No joy there for Roshan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Challa makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Roshan really felt that one! Roshan is breathing heavily. Challa throws a nice inside leg kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Challa attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Challa lands with a thumping leg kick.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Roshan tries to keep at a distance but Challa has taken the fight into the clinch. Challa lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Roshan backwards. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
T Challa dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Roshan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Roshan lands a really nice looking cross but Challa seems unphased.
Roshan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Challa moves away. Challa throws a head kick that misses. Roshan shoots in and bounces Challa off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Roshan slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roshan throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Challa works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Roshan lands a couple of decent looking shots. Roshan landing with the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Challa controlling the position. Challa is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Challa wants to sweep but no luck.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Roshan lands a couple of decent looking shots. Roshan wants to pass the guard but Challa is keeping the position. Challa controlling Roshan's posture. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
We're going to have a standup here because T Challa wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. A big right from Challa misses. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A slow jab from Roshan misses its intended target. Challa rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Roshan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Roshan missing with a left hand there. Challa was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Damian Roshan. I think Roshan has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
