The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machado stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Machado wants it to stay on the feet.
Rigatoni shoots for a double leg takedown but Machado sprawls well. He's pushed Rigatoni's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tommy Rigatoni. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rigatoni looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Machado is fending him off so far but Rigatoni persists. Nope, Machado circles away and we're back to standing.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rigatoni is defended easily by Machado.
Machado uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Rigatoni has time to react.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Machado gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rigatoni drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rigatoni jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Machado can do anything to dispel that myth.
Rigatoni trying to control the position from guard on top but Machado is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Machado not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Machado really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rigatoni. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Machado is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Rigatoni drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rigatoni jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Rigatoni stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Machado swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Rigatoni is fighting to break Machado's control of his arms but Machado is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Rigatoni wants to control from the top but Machado keeps moving.
Rigatoni sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Machado's guard.

Machado avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Rigatoni.
Rigatoni seems to be working for a kimura but Machado defends the submission attempt.
Rigatoni thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Machado's head.
Rigatoni is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Machado doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Rigatoni.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rigatoni works his foot free and advances to mount.
Rigatoni trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Rigatoni looking for a guillotine from mount but Machado is having none of it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rigatoni pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Rigatoni landing strikes from the mount and Machado is in trouble!
Machado is rocked!

Rigatoni postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Machado out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Rigatoni goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
