Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chris Redfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Willey Star (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Chris Redfield! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Willey Star! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Alyssa Summers and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Redfield fails with a takedown attempt. Redfield fails with the takedown. Star misses with a few strikes there.
Star throws a series of punches but Redfield moves out of range. No luck with that takedown attempt from Redfield. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Redfield. That's going to take a lot out of him. Star misses with a wild body shot. No joy there for Star, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Redfield dodges the punch combination from Star.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Star is trying to escape and get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. You can see the frustration on Star's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Star is not content to let Redfield control the position. Star looking for a sweep but Redfield has passed into full mount! Oh no! Redfield looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Redfield tries to control but Star wriggling away. Redfield is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Star can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Star is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Star is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Star looks gassed! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Redfield throwing strikes here but Star is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Redfield throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Redfield shoots in for a takedown but Star shows good takedown defense. Chris Redfield is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Star throws a right and a left that Redfield avoids nicely. Star bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Redfield's head. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Star lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Redfield backs up against the cage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Chris Redfield. Star throws a predictable looking body shot
and Redfield counters with a one-two to the body. Redfield misses with a body kick. Redfield staying out of range there. Star throws a lazy right hand but Redfield sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Star throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

He's hooked one of Star's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Star's back! Star is trying to stand back up. Redfield wants to control but Star is keeping busy. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Redfield trying to control.
