Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gregory Ant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abe Reles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reles comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bone Thugs N Harmony - Mo' Murda kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Gregory Ant!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Abe Reles!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Igor Prikhodko and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reles shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ant is trying to defend but Reles finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Ant keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Reles tries to pass the half guard into mount. Ant knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Ant is trying to get back to full guard.
Reles not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Reles working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Reles creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Ant sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Reles looks up at the clock and then as Ant takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Reles smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Oh Ant is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Reles misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Ant seems to have got his legs back now.

Reles cracks Ant with a big right hand but Ant just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Ant is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Reles's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Reles's back!

Ant looking for the choke but no joy.
Reles is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Ant off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
Ant keeps control of the position as Reles tries to break free.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Reles manages to reverse the position and now he's in Ant's guard. Nice work there by Reles.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Reles accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Reles connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Ant's hands.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
